Teaching Experience:

• I have been teaching in the Poway Unified School District since 1989. I started teaching at Bernardo Heights Middle School and stayed there for 4 years. I spent my 5th year in the district at Poway High School, where the volleyball teams I was coaching both won CIF championships. After this I moved to Mesa Verde Middle School, and have been teaching here ever since. 
• I have been teaching Education 422 - Technology in Teaching and Learning at Cal State San Marcos since the summer of 2003

Personal Background:

• I have been married to Kim since 1988. We have 3 children. Bennett was born June 7,1994, and Kolby was born November 16, 1996. Slater was born May 20, 2001. We enjoy spending time as a family. Kim is an at home mom most the time and a part time wedding coordinator at our church Torrey Pines Christian. I enjoy surfing, golfing, beach volleyball, hiking, and participating in Indian Guides with my son, Slater.  We moved to Rancho Penasquitos December of 1997. Our home is located on Old West Ave. Here are some family pictures.
