for Logging into Grade Records

In order to set learning goals and to encourage students to do their best, timely feedback is important for our students and their parents. We are very happy to announce that electronic progress notices will be available online via the Mesa Verde web page. We will no longer provide traditional quarterly progress notices. The new electronic progress notices will provide more individualized information regarding your students work and assignment scores. It can be accessed via any internet-capable computer and will provide teachers with instructional time once spent filling out the hand carried reports into each class. Online Progress Notices will be posted by the following dates: Sept. 30, Dec.16, March 9, May 18 (Some class grades may be posted more often.) Traditional Printed Report Cards will come home with students on Nov.12, Feb. 3, April 20, with a final one mailed the end of June. If you do not have Internet access at home, the following options are available: Mesa Verde Middle School Library Los Penasquitos Library Mission Federal Credit Union in Poway If you require a hard copy of your student’s progress report, please ask your child to print it in one of his/her classes. If this is not sufficient, telephone the office at 538-5478 to ask that a copy be printed and sent home with your child.Work habits and citizenship will also be noted on this report. Citizenship and Work Habits Grades: Each teacher will create assignments titled “CITIZENSHIP” and “WORK HABITS”. We hope to have those listed as the first 2 grades in the grade record.

4. You will see the student report for your child. Please note that your child’s name is not on this report for added security. Also please note the date in the top right corner. This will let you know the last time that these grades have been uploaded to the web. This is a somewhat cumbersome process for teachers, and is also a new skill for many. Your patience and understanding are appreciated as they update the grade records for the following dates this year: Sept. 30, Dec.16, March 9, May 18. |
