The Student Employment Competencies Curriculum provides instructional activities designed to meet the requirements of achieving SCANS (Secretary's Commission on Achieving Necessary Skills) competencies in the eleven core areas of Preemployment/Work Maturity Skills.  Two added sections have been added which fulfill WASC criteria for "Focus on Learning".   The instructional activities serve projects such as WorkAbility, Transition Partnership Program, Work Experience Education, and others.

The curriculum includes clearly defined instructor/trainer pages, three separate levels of instruction to benefit all students (can be easily adapted to adult programs).  For a sample lesson plan and corresponding activities, click here.
