ASSOCIATE PARTNER

Our Associate Partners in Education have elected to become District-wide supporters.  Some activities they may participate in include:

	Participation in advisory committees
	Donation of equipment or supplies
	Provision of financial support as needed
	Participation in networking events

BACKGROUND: Foot Solutions is located in Rancho Bernardo.  Foot Solutions’ business is about feet and how to best care for them. They use today's most advanced computer technology and the knowledge of proper fitting footwear.  Foot Solutions is part of the world's largest personal services franchise with over 700 franchises in over 30 countries. The parent company has been franchising since 1985.

DESCRIPTION: Foot Solutions brings the ultimate service to the world of foot care and comfort.  They have an extensive selection of comfort foot wear, athletic shoes, sandals, arch supports and custom made orthotics to improve balance, comforts an control.  Foot Solutions also accommodates foot conditions that range from mild to serious.  The relationship between Foot Solutions – Rancho Bernardo and the Poway Unified School District, through the Partners in Education Program, contributes to each other’s success by exploring and strengthening the vital link between student success and academic excellence.

ESTABLISHED: June 2004

GOALS:

	Help increase the finds for in-class school supplies for Poway Unified School District teachers
	Increase school, home and community bonds
	Develop a strong foundation for a long-term partnership between Foot Solutions and the Poway Unified School District

ACTIVITIES:

	Support teachers’ needs by contributing 10% of the purchase price of purchases towards the school supplies fund.  This is offered to those affiliated with Poway Unified School District and includes teachers, students, administration, booster club members and parents
	Principal-for-a-Day school visitation and District activities
	Participate in school and District advisory groups
