BACKGROUND: Doubletree Golf Resort San Diego San Diego has been located in the Rancho Peñasquitos community since 1989.  The Doubletree Golf Resort San Diego San Diego is a golf and tennis resort serving group, leisure and corporate travelers.  We cater to the local community by accommodating golf, food, beverage, meeting and banquet facilities.  We offer a full-service health and fitness facility with private membership.

DESCRIPTION: This partnership has been established to provide educational access to service business by close communication between partners.

ESTABLISHED: January 12, 1994

GOALS:

	Increase community involvement.
	Continue a relationship with Los Peñasquitos that is mutually rewarding.

	Help educate the students in what the service business entails.
	Reward student excellence in all areas of achievement.

ACTIVITIES:

	Reward "Students of the Month" by providing a meal at the hotel.
	Organize and host field trips to the hotel.
	Provide areas for displaying student art work at the hotel.
	Support the school by providing volunteers when called upon, i.e. Olympic Field Day and Jog-A-Thon.
	Share professional insights with both students and staff.
	Monthly recognition awards of Doubletree chocolate chip cookies.
