Our Associate Partners in Education have elected to become District-wide supporters.  Some activities they may participate in include:

BACKGROUND: Costco Wholesale Corporation operates an international chain of membership warehouses that carry quality, brand name merchandise at substantially lower prices than are typically found at conventional wholesale or retail sources. DESCRIPTION: Costco Wholesale – Poway continues the Costco tradition of being involved with the local community and the local school district.  The relationship between Costco Wholesale - Poway and Midland Elementary School within the Poway Unified School District, through the Partners in Education Program, contributes to each other’s success by exploring and strengthening the vital link between student success and academic excellence.

bullet Develop a strong foundation for a long-term partnership between Midland Elementary School and Poway Unified School District
bullet Increase school, home and community bonds
bullet Promote interaction between school staff and students with Costco and it’s employees

ACTIVITIES:

bullet Support education through mentoring programs
bullet Support needy families during the holidays
bullet Provide backpacks to students
bullet Provide financial support for extra curricular activities
bullet Sponsor tours of the warehouse
bullet Support student of the month
bullet Principal-for-a-Day School visitation and District activities
