q   Read Chapter 21.  Do Review Questions 1 - 2 on page 431.

q   Watch video, "Understanding the Power of Genes."  Go to www.unitedstreaming.com and use the Login and Password I gave you in class today.    Answer the video questions for the video (found in LearningPoint under  Video Questions).

q   Assignment:  Biotech Tutorials. 
1.  Review the tutorial, Making Insulin.  What are the 10 steps in making Insulin in bacteria? 
2.  Review the tutorial, Amplifying, PCR animation.  What are the steps (list at least 6) in amplifying DNA using this method? 
3.  Review the tutorial, Human Identification.  Explain DNA Fingerprinting (short paragraph).  Compare and contrast "the first DNA fingerprints" with today's fingerprinting technique used by the FBI.
