The Emerald Brigade played for an audience of students, parents, and educators at the final stop of U.S. Secretary of Education Rod Paige's back-to-school tour at UCSD on September 7. The rally was followed by a town-hall style meeting. PUSD Superintendent Don Phillips joined other county and school district superintendents, parents, and community members in a discussion about education issues.
