Appointment and continuing employment
of classified employees is based on the merit principle (civil service). Statements of
these principles and policies are expressed in merit system Rules and Regulations of the
Personnel Commission of the Poway Unified School District and in the Education Code of the
State of California.
Candidates successfully completing all phases of the application and examination processes
will be ranked on the appropriate eligibility list according to total examination score.
