The Poway
Unified School District is now accepting applications for (on call)
substitutes in the Food and Nutrition Department. Substitutes must:

Be able
to read, write, compute, and apply basic mathematical calculations
-
Be
available to work at any location on an on-call basis (mostly midday
hours) from two (2) to three (hours, depending on assignment.

Be
willing to learn and follow policies and procedures of the Food and
Nutrition Department.

Provide
general clean up.
-
Provide
dish and pan washing at any District facility.
-
Help
prepare and serve meals at any school site.
-
Work
initially as on-call substitutes, but may lead to a part-time permanent
job.
-
Be able
to relate effectively with staff, students, and the public.

Personnel Commission at (858)679-2545.

Pick up
an application from the Personnel Commision office at 13626 Twin Peaks
Road, Poway, CA in the Administration Center.

All
applicants must pass a written test, physical examination, and a
criminal record check (be fingerprinted).

Must
possess a Social Security Card and a state-recognized photo
identification.
